Lodeynopolsky district

The district in the southern part of the Olonets province. It occupied 9031 km2 in area, the population as of 1894 was 44 340 people. The district town was Lodeynoye Pole.
Lodeynopolsky district was the center of making household and artistic ceramics, pottery production. The products of the craftsmen were distributed throughout the territory of Karelia and St. Petersburg.
